Pro 14 Premium PA14250, PSR/DRRS toggle missing in BIOS, screen flickering Intel Arc GPU

Dear Dell Support,

I own a Dell Pro 14 Premium (PA14250) equipped with Intel Core Ultra 7 268V and Intel Arc graphics, and I’ve been experiencing continuous screen flickering, especially under low brightness and dark backgrounds.

Intel Arc engineers suspect this issue is related to PSR (Panel Self Refresh) or DRRS (Dynamic Refresh Rate Switching) behaviors.

I have already contacted Intel and reported the issue, but since the BIOS on this model does not provide any option to disable PSR or DRRS, I would like to confirm:

  1. Is there any hidden BIOS flag or OEM-level method (via firmware, Dell Command Utility, or engineering mode) to disable PSR/DRRS manually?

  2. If not, could this model receive a BIOS update that exposes such an option for troubleshooting?

Intel’s driver-level registry control for PSR/DRRS also has no effect on this model, which further suggests an OEM-level lock.

Thank you very much for your time and support.

Update Intel Arc graphics drivers to version 31.0.101.5592 or later, and enable Panel Self Refresh in the BIOS.

Ever find a fix? Same issue present with same model laptop.

Updated to latest firmware & latest Intel Arc Graphics Driver; screen flickering still present.

Attempted driver-level registry control for PSR/DDRS as well.

Can't find a Panel Self Refresh option avail in BIOS.
