Pro 14 Plus PB14250, Ultra 5, no turbo boost
I'm having performance issues with a PB14250 due to the lack of Turbo boost. I have updated all system drivers and Bios (2.9.0) and the option is missing from the Bios advanced setup. I have provided the admin password for the BIOS, unlocked the advanced features, but the only options I can see under Processor Performance are SpeedStep and Hyper Threading, there is no Tuboboost option. With Turboboost disabled the laptop is running similar to an i7 from 2014. I would much rather have my old Inspiron laptop back with a new battery!

Updated to BIOS 2.10.1 released today with no change.
Is anyone else experiencing this or do I have a faulty device?

Is 'turbo boost' only helpful for single-threaded workloads? You could try turning off SpeedStep but I would expect that to negatively impact battery run-time (and perhaps fan noise).

Here's a picture of the BIOS screen.
