Dell Pro 14 Premium - Bios issue 2.10.1

Has anyone else experienced issues after updating to BIOS version 2.10.1?
I updated two laptops yesterday morning, and both have since developed problems—driver issues, no sound, and an LCD connection error. This is followed by 2 amber flashes and 7 white flashes.
Any feedback is welcome. Thanks!

For direct Dell Technical Support, click the blue "Get Help Now" on the right to start a private live chat session. Share with them the private Service Tag, issues, this thread link, and all of your troubleshooting. This will in turn generate a unique Technical Support case for your unique Service Tag.

If you can, I'd recommend rolling the BIOS back to 2.9.0 to see if that resolved the issue. If everything is working as intended, then update back to 2.10.0. If issues return on 2.10, then contacting Dell Support would be the best way to report that issue. If enough users report the same thing, then we may end up pulling that version if it has a confirmed issue. Its been out for a week so far, so its a bit hard to say if its just the 2 laptops or if there is a larger impact.

@DELL-Daniel V Thanks Daniel.

Annoyingly it's a non down gradable bios version. Contacted support and they are looking into the issue, just wondered if multiple people were having the issue. I don't want to break our other premiums by updating them.

How did you perform the BIOS update? I have the same laptop (PA14250) and did a BIOS upgrade via the Linux fwupd system, which uses the UEFI capsule method. This caused the audio and webcam to fail on the next boot, because of the system ACPI tables: They reported that the system has a Realtek audio device, while in reality it has a Cirrus Logic one.

I was able to restore both audio and webcam by using the BIOS' own update method: Pressing F12 while booting and selecting "Update BIOS" in that menu, then having a USB stick with the BIOS update EXE (not CAB) on it, and then running the firmware update that way. Afterwards, ACPI tables were correct and both audio and webcam started working again.
