14 Pro Plus PB14250, Intel Arc 140V GPU (16GB), external monitors
Hi all,
I have just upgraded to a Dell Pro Plus from my Latitude 7420. I am having some issues with the external displays. For reference, I have a Dell WD19TBS Dock and 3 x Dell P2722H monitors (1 x HDMI and 2 x DP). For the last 3 years I have happily worked using 4 displays (the 3 x external plus my Latitude's internal display).
I have connected my 14 Pro Plus PB14250 and no matter what I do I cannot get it to work with more than a total of 3 displays. I have googled the GPU and it does say maximum 3 displays, however googling around the laptop spec it should support 4 displays.
I am looking for help on how I can get the 4 displays working. Surely a brand new laptop isn't inferior to an older less spec'd one? I really need the 4 displays so would appreciate any help or suggestions of what I can do to get this working.

Hi Paul,
I have the same problem (Dell PB16250 with Intel Arc 130V). With my old Dell Latitude 5420, 3+1 worked perfectly with 3 external screens (P2417H *2 + EA245-WMi) plus the internal screen.
Quite a downgrade and also it felt like an artificial limitation, as the new graphics chip should be much more powerful.

Hello All,
We are seeing similar issue. We have "Dell Universal Dock - UD22 - docking station - USB-C - HDMI". With Dell 7420, 7430 and 7450 Models, Laptop + 2 external monitor works fine. One is connected to Dock HDMI Port and another to DP port. We switched to Dell 14 Pro Plus PB14250, the Monitor connected to HDMI port works but the those connected to DP port on dock does not work.
Suggestions of what we can do to get this working?

I have the same issue as reported by Paul on 22Jun. Same config. Moving from Latitude 7420 to Dell Pro 14 Plus PB14250 STD using external Dock DELL WD19S and trying to connect 3 external monitors and also use Laptop display (so 4 displays in total). This was a working configuration on Latitude 7420.
Before we spend further time with recordings, screen prints etc. Please can you first confirm that 3 external monitors connect via DELL WD19S dock + laptop monitor is a supported configuration for the Dell Pro 14 Plus PB14250.
Just to confirm I have run the Dell support app to verify drivers and all drivers are up to date. Also run the diagnostic and no errors were reported. 2 warnings shown MFC-L2740DW (printer) and UsbStatus all other items show Passed.
if you can first confirm that the 4 display configuration is still supported then i will log a support call for resolution unless you can suggest alternate.

I agree. It appears that once you have bought your PC @DELL-Nat M and the winder Dell team care very little
