VR heat sinks for EBT2250

Even though I only have the ultra 7 265 CPU, I want to add heat sinks on the voltage regulators. Some sites say you only need one, but you can clearly see on the motherboard that there are places to screw in two of them. Is there any reason not to go ahead and use two?

I just installed the ones from Amazon that are shown above and they work fine with the tower cooler.

it is a good idea and you can use XPS 8950/8960 VRM heatsink.  the EBT2250 mobo is just an incremental reiteration of the predecessor 8960 board.

@redxps630 Thanks!  The ones on Amazon that are specified as fitting the EBT2250 (and others) are longer than the ones shown above (13 fins, rather than 10).

you are  probably correct.  I was only able to find DP/N of 8950 VR HTSNK.  looking at 8950 board that seems to use a shorted HTSNK than 8960.  I think 8960/8970 use same longer HTSNK.  per eBay the new HTSNK DP/N is 6F5D4
