Tower Plus EBT2250, thermal pad for the secondary NVMe SSD?

I have a Dell Tower Plus EBT2250 and it has two NVME slots for SSD drives. Strangely, the secondary slot does not have a thermal pad (there is a 20 x 20 x 5 mm thermal pad in the first slot). When I try to insert a second SSD it gets bent since there is an empty space below the drive that does not exist in the primary SSD. Where can I buy, from Dell or other vendors, a 5mm thick thermal pad to use in the second NVME slot? Is there a part number I can order from Dell?

It sounds like a drive standoff is missing -- a thicker pad isn't going to make up for that.  You can call Dell spare parts wherever you're located about availability, or try a local computer shop -- the standoffs are not proprietary parts.

Indeed, I inadvertently remove the second SSD drive slot standoff. Put it back in and added the second SSD. Thanks for the reply!!

I have the same issue with my EBT2250. So, what thickness standoff should I get?

@Alexbez Did you add a pad underneath the second SSD like the other one? I want add 2 Samung SSD's but I'm not what to do with this 5mm pad in the first slot.

@DellEBT2250 No i did not add a second pad. Just put the standoff in the correct position and inserted the second SSD drive. Worked perfectly and no issues so far.

I do not do constant writing to the drives so heating is not an issue for me.
