Tower Plus EBT2250, cannot enter BIOS settings? #2
Running into same problem here. Except keeping the F2 keep pressed allows me to boot off USB drive but none of the internal drives are visible! Neither NVME SSDs (formatted) or the factory installed 2TB HDD. Only drives visible on boot are the boot thumb drive and then another thumb drive which has some drivers I connected. Any help appreciated just to get into the BIOS.

@dummy
Correct!
wireless must use BIOS 1.4.4 and later and Fn F2
wired use F2

Hi everyone,
We’d like to provide an update regarding two issues that have been reported on DCF so far:
BIOS Access Issue
A BIOS-level issue was identified that prevented users from entering the BIOS setup using any type of keyboard. This has been resolved in BIOS version 1.4.4 and later. If you're experiencing this issue, please update your BIOS to the latest version.
Wireless Keyboard Functionality
If you're using a wireless keyboard, you may need to press Fn + F2 during boot to access the BIOS. In some cases, wireless keyboards may not be immediately responsive during startup. If issues persist, we recommend using a wired keyboard temporarily to ensure access. Refer the keyboard manual for more details.

So after 1 month-only way to get into BIOS is from inside W11-choosing Recovery, and then at Boot-go into Advanced and choose BIOS! Crazy! F2 does NOT work. It works fine on all other Dell Systems including my XPS 8950 and Precision 3680.

The Tower Plus EBT2250 Drivers & Downloads page now shows BIOS 1.5.2 May 20, 2025. Can you install BIOS 1.5.2 and tell us if the wireless keyboard instruction, "When the Dell logo appears, press-and-hold [FN]+[F2] until the BIOS screen appears." still works?

@DELL-Chris M - tried Fn+F2-kept it pressed after I pressed the power on. Unfortunately, no joy. It seemed to work just once when I kept the F2 key pressed by itself, but only once-so I don't know why it's not working. I can still only get into the BIOS from inside Windows by using the "Advanced" startup options on reboot. Thanks.

Which specific keyboard are you testing?

The PC is on, restart, as soon as the screen goes black start slowly tapping only F2. Does the BIOS appear?

@DELL-Chris M Thanks for following up. Logitech wireless (not Bluetooth) keyboard. When I started pressing right when the screen where the logo “Dell Safe BIOS” showed up I was able to get into BIOS by pressing Fn with F2. But have to see if that method “sticks.”
