Tower Plus EBT2250, 32GB single stick 5200 M/T

Just puchased the Tower Plus EBT2250 Ultra 9 285k with one 32GB 5200 M/T. Which vendor has this ram that will absolutely work so I could double my ram to 64GB by adding another single ram? Also will I have to change the settings in my bios?

The Tower Plus EBT2250 only used one OEM 32GB memory stick.

Dell part 8D9M0 = 32GB, DIMM, Unbuffered, DDR5, 288 pin, Dual Rank, Non-ECC, Non-Encrypted
Micron MTC16C2085S1UC56BD1
Samsung M323R4GA3DB0-CWM/M323R4GA3EB0-CWM/M323R4GA3PB0-CWM
SK Hynix HMCG88AGBUA

There should be no need for BIOS settings change.  Source another identical part number with your OEM module to increase the compatibility when upgrade.

@DELL-Chris M The 32GB ram chips you listed (such as SK Hynix HMCG88AGBUA) are 5600 mt/s.
Are you saying those are compatible with the Tower Plus EBT2250, and that they will run at 5200 mt/s?   Or just to try them and see if they work?

When I look up Dell part number 8D9M0, those vendor name and their part number appear. Regardless of what a retail (example SK Hynix) web page may state for specifications, they will all run at 5200 in our Tower Plus EBT2250.

@DELL-Chris M Hi, Chris.   I have a new EBT2250.  It came with one 32GB stick of ram.  I asked for that, my thinking is, I will upgrade to 64GB at some future time.   The 32GB chip that came with my EBT2250 displays the following: SK Hynix (Korea) 32GB 2Rx8 PC5-5600B-UB0-1010-XT.  And when I check the bios, it is running at 5600.   So, when I add a second 32GB chip, does it have to be exactly the same as the one that came with the pc?  Same manufacturer, same speed, and so on?   Thanks

@Floyd Tatum Interesting that the Dell OEM 8D9M0 SK Hynix stick runs at 5600. Are you on BIOS 1.8.1? My guess is that you will need to get a retail 32GB stick that matches the OEM 8D9M0 =

32GB, DIMM, Unbuffered, DDR5, 288 Pin, Dual Rank, Non-Error Correction Code, Non-Encrypted, 2Rx8, 4Gx64, voltage 1.1

@DELL-ChrisM2 Yes, interesting indeed!   Yes, the BIOS is version 1.8.1.   By the way, I have not changed any of the BIOS settings - this is the way the EBT2250 was delivered.   Since it was delivered that way, I'm assuming that running the RAM at 5600 will not harm anything?
(By the way, the numbers 4800/5200/5600, what do they represent?  MHz?  MT/S?   Some of this stuff is new to me, I'm trying understand it).   Thanks.
