Tower ECT1250, sata

Hi I saw that the new Dell desktop products are divided into 3 new models:Dell towerDell slim towerDell Plus towerI was wondering if in the standard Dell tower model (Model: ECT1250) there was more than one sata slot because I needed to insert in addition to a 3.5 hdd a small ssd (NO m2, standard ssd) for specific uses. The dell site reports only one sata connection but maybe a new slot can be attached to the power supply or I was wondering if a sata Gb/s is available for the optical drive

There is only one SATA port on the mainboard.  If you need more, you'll need to install a PCIe expansion card with SATA ports on it.

Ok, but if I install a Pcie expansion on the boot menu I will see the entry like a sata or like a pcie boot?

another question where I can fix the ssd drive if the cage is occupied by the hdd

Most newer Dell systems cannot boot from a SATA drive if both SATA and NVMe are present.

If this is your goal, you may want to consider a custom built system with a standard ATX mainboard -- these generally will support what you want to do (most pre-built systems even from other manufacturers will not).

Is there a reason not to use the onboard M.2 slot for an SSD to boot from?
