Tower ECT1250, RAM upgrade/downgrade
i514400 DDR5 2x32bit at 5600 and 16Gb, DRAM 2394
I can get 32Gb of DDR4 2x64 bit (dual) at 3200 DRAM 1596
This is to run win11, heaviest load small video edit.
Is this an upgrade or downgrade! Would the higher i5 spec more than compensate the recude memory speed/type?
Cant seem find any info on this one

The Tower ECT1250 Service Manual states that only DDR5 memory is supported. Also, DDR4 memory has a different key notch position so would not fit in the motherboard memory slot.

Thanks for the reply, good of you to take the time. Seems a daft question of mine in first place now I think about it. The price of RAM at present is just so high.
