Tower ECT1250, PCIe x16 graphics upgrade?

Model ECT1250 Dell Tower desktop i5/i7
Hi,
Thinking of this as an upgrade to an older dell.  I note like the older is has integrated graphics, UHD 730/770.
Is is worth investing in a X16 pcie graphics card for this once arrives?  The present is slow with basic video edits.
The PSU is rated at 360W would this be enough? And maybe recommend a hcard that will fit?
With thanks for reading.

For video editing, a dedicated graphics card will definitely boost performance.  However, depending on what you're replacing, the integrated GPU is likely to provide a good boost by itself - integrated graphics tech has improved markedly over the last few years.

360W will support a modest GPU card.  If you're doing extensive video editing, it may be better to cancel this order and order a more capable machine with a higher power supply rating.   The Tower Plus would be the starting point for that -- the EBT2250

Hi,

Thanks for taking the time to reply.  As it is basic holiday vids a full Tower may not be cost effective, but a good point, will see cost  and see if worth it. Thanks. Many years ago GPU cards were cheap and basic!
