Tower ECT1250, 360 W platinum internal power supply

I am wanting to upgrade my power supply from a 180 W Bronze to the 360 W Platinum. I can't find the part number on Dell's site to order the upgrade. Does anyone know what it is or the link to it?

The SPMD (Spare Parts Master Database) shows the 360W platinum PSU as, "For sale: No" which is why they do not appear on the Tower ECT1250 Parts & Repairs page.

The part numbers are below for your reference =

RMT1V Acbel
C6FFW Chicony
V003H Delta
4T5P7 Huntkey
TTFHH Liteon

Moonchild1958,

I just went thru this kabuki dance to have the power necessary to add a discrete video card to my new ECT 1250.

After hours of research starting from info found here, I determined that the HU460EBS-00 should work. Based upon the knowledge that the power pinouts on Dell motherboards are NOT standard ATX at all that was my best attempt.

I am happy to confirm this power supply fits, offers proper wiring, and is happily feeding my 8GB Quadro P4000 in my new CAD/CAM machine.

Hope this helps someone with the same problem.

Thanks guys for all of the help. I found that the

VisionTek Graphics Card - 4GB Radeon RX 560 GDDR5 | Dual HDMI | 4K Display Support | PCIe 3.0 x8 | Compact & Bus Powered | Business & Digital Signage Ready × 1 satisfies my requirements without having to upgrade my Power Supply.

I appreciate everyone's input! 😊

@Moonchild1958 did this graphics card work for you? Im looking for a solution as well considering the 180w psu. Wondering how this is working for you.

@OneArmedBanditSATX

Ok i just installed HU460EBS-00  as well. It is working and it is literally made for the case type connectors. And the extra wattage is nice for upgradability and has gfx connectors too, tho i dont plan on using those anytime soon.

@Timmeh45

The PS has been working flawlessly.  I had a little drama with adding my Quadra P4000- the machine was bought as a shortcut to more power for Fusion360 and such- but I worked thru it. None of the drama was related to the PS.

BTW- the drama was Win11 Pro related, not

BIOS or such.

@OneArmedBanditSATX  excellent . Good to hear. I have been wondering. These come with the 180w psu. Replacing with a 460 in theory should allow for a good amt of power left for gpu. Im wondering the the core7 256 on these are underclocked or something to be able to even run on 180w without a gpu or what dell is doing to run it on a bronze 180w psu.  I like the idea of the quadro. Not a bad price. Right now running my OLD 1050Ti  untill i decide what card to land on. I use my pc mostly for work, some gaming and messing around with LLMs. Not much but just need something that can boost tokens per second lol.
