Slim ECS1250, missing SATA 3.0 3.5" HDD drive bay
Exactly the same issue, placed order with as per specification as ordering including the
" 1 SATA 3.0 slot for 3.5-inch hard drive" SEE BELOW
Their video on how to install includes the chassis www.dell.com/support/contents/en-sg/videos/videoplayer/how-to-replace-the-35-inch-hdd-on-dell-tower-ect1250dell-slim-ecs1250/6376065085112

Their response (tech support) to me after fighting them was "ITS OPTIONAL". What a load <Prohibited word or character substitution used. Spamming same post on other user threads is not allowed. See the Forum Code of Conduct. DELL-Admin> and is illegal to do this here and I will report them to trading standards here for illegal description of the product, miss selling, false representation.
Really funny as the spec also stated that the SD card reader is optional, but it was provided.

Quite a few users had already experienced the issue.
A small print is built in ECS1250, QCS1250, ECT1250, QCT1250 manual to protect Dell legally.
“NOTE:The drive bay is only available in computers that are shipped with a hard drive.”
In the drive bay>how to remove drive bay section
https://www.dell.com/support/manuals/en-us/dell-ecs1250-slim-desktop/dell-slim-ecs1250-owners-manual/removing-the-drive-bay?guid=guid-41923ecb-e407-43f8-9850-08960766bc9b&lang=en-us
Agree it is not crystal clear to buyer that hdd tray is not included by default if only m.2. ssd is ordered.
funny that Dell is basically saying if you want the proprietary hdd tray you @must@ order a Dell oem hdd which probably is 3-4x retail new blank hdd price (because Dell has validated the oem hdd)

As per the sales description , there is no caveat for having to buy an additional drive. Other wise they have to state that in the pre sales specifications.
And to back that argument up the SD card says OPTIONAL, I didn't order one, as it says optional but it came anyway.
Singapore trading standards will be consulted with.
