QCM1250 BE200 external antenna kit supplier
I'm about to purchase a stock QCM1250 but the first thing out of the box, I have to add a Wifi card, preferably with external antennae. There's a lovely description on how to install two SMA cables in the owners' manual but where do you get the SMA connector bracket described and shown there? Is there a customer only parts link ??

Did you get the micro or slim desktop?

I read through both manuals but bought the Micro for home. Iʻve found all the parts I need except for that silly bracket. Iʻll probably just mill or print one.

That's not a bad idea. Sometimes Dell makes certain parts only available at the time of ordering. So if the QCM1250 would've been ordered with the wifi card, then the bracket would be there. I imagine the 1250 is too new to be able to buy parts from sites like eBay.

Looking through DELLʻs upgrade parts, theyʻre not offering much either. It might be a while to see them on Ebay.

When you buy the PC you can do the Configuration choice and select the Adapter. Either the internal or external antennae.
I got the larger EBT2250 and it came with the BE200 and no antennae choice.
Since I have the same card in my XPS8940 using the internal 2x2 antennae I wasn't concerned.
If you should select no wireless adapter you might not get the internal antennae either...

I weighed several custom configurations but decided to just buy a stock package from Dell to upgrade later. I can easily make a mounting plate for the two antennae ( the rest is just commodity parts ) but the difficulty in acquiring a part that the manufacturer both shows and describes in the owner's manual as part of their CRU field procedure is a curiosity to me and a bit disconcerting.

Well, I was looking for the external ones for both our PC's.
Only place I could find any was AliExpress.
Like this one -->https://www.aliexpress.us/item/3256806739082058.html?spm=a2g0o.productlist.main.52.5ed1xW1axW1aRw&algo_pvid=fc185fd3-a1a7-4a0c-ba50-91ded67cf072&algo_exp_id=fc185fd3-a1a7-4a0c-ba50-91ded67cf072-51&pdp_ext_f=%7B%22order%22%3A%222%22%2C%22eval%22%3A%221%22%7D&pdp_npi=6%40dis%21USD%2146.27%2127.30%21%21%2146.27%2127.30%21%40210318c317564015200571770e3c17%2112000038742679632%21sea%21US%210%21ABX%211%210%21n_tag%3A-29910%3Bd%3Aa1573f19%3Bm03_new_user%3A-29895&curPageLogUid=0UT9TRmQMmvs&utparam-url=scene%3Asearch%7Cquery_from%3A%7Cx_object_id%3A1005006925396810%7C_p_origin_prod%3A and it is cheap enough and comes with another M.2 card....
Also search Ebay, but some do not mention WiFi 7, and I'm not even sure 'what type' of external ones are the proper ones?

I found most of what I needed on Amazon. Two 8” SMA / IPX4 cables and the BE200 card with a PCI bracket with two antenna. ( probably from Aliexpress ) I decided to use the DELL puck antenna and found one for $9 on Ebay. The unobtainium bracket Iʻll just print since I no longer have an SMA D punch. Ironically, I saw a Youtube showing an older Optiplex with chassis knockouts for the two holes . No bracket needed.
