Pro Max Tower T2 FCT2250, Wake on Lan only with hibernate, not with sleep
Hello,
Can anyone help me with a little with a WOL problem?
Our brand new Dell Workstation type FCT2250 can wake up, but only from hibernate mode.
If the PC is put into sleep mode, WOL doesn't work, if the PC is put into hibernate mode, WOL does work.
I read somewhere that the PC doesn't actually go into sleep mode and that a parameter needs to be added to the power options, but it's not possible to add parameters to the power options. Like I saw on different examples, it is not possible via regedit, not via command line.
I've already read on many sites and forums, spent many hours trying to adjust various parameters in the BIOS and Windows 11, power options, Ethernet card and so on, but nothing helps.
The BIOS and Windows have the latest updates.
Does anyone have any ideas?
Thanks in advance.

Weird.
Are you waking with a Magic-Packet?
Have you looked and the options in the Network Card in Device-Manager?
In the olden-days, there was an option is BIOS that declared what C-Level Sleep was used. I think you DO NOT want a newer Deep-Sleep. I thought C3 was normal Sleep (where fans turn-off).
