Power outage causes BitLocker recovery

These 2 models have been experiencing this issue consistently.

Dell Pro Slim Plus QBS1250

Dell Pro Micro QCM1250

We have had 1 unplanned and 1 planned power outage in our office and on both events, when power is restored, the workstations boot up to BitLocker recovery. This was consistent with all our systems with above mentioned models.

They all have the current hardware updates, including BIOS.

Strangely enough, I clicked on the option to "Skip this drive" and then go to Advanced and then start Windows 11 normally and it boots up fine with no issue.

The other discovery is if I just reboot the workstation, it also boots up with no issue. I am curious as to why it goes to BitLocker anyways on a power outage/disruption. Is this a Windows issue, or Dell/Bios issue?

I experienced the same thing with an Inspiron 3030 yesterday after an unexpected power failure. However, it was worse for me because my computer wouldn't recognize the mouse or keyboard, even when I plugged in an old keyboard. As a result, I couldn't enter the recovery key (assuming that I could have found it in my Microsoft account) or click on "skip this drive". In desperation, I shut it down with the power button then restarted. This time, it booted normally. I've never activated Bitlocker on my computer so I'd really like to know how to avoid this problem in future.

We are having a similar issue with QCM1250 - we haven't been able to tie it to a power issue, but we will often come into the office to find multiple desktops at the Bitlocker recovery screen. This does not happen with other model Dell desktops that we have.

Any updates on this one? My QCM1250 just " had a security issue "and jumped me into BitLocker recovery.. Tricky even with the key since it also shut out any input devices like the keyboard or mouse. I had to unplug the power supply to reboot it. It came back normal but gee...Dell did a Bios update a few days ago.
