I bought a new Dell Tower Plus EBT2250, how does Dell Support Assist, Dell Migrate work?

Just ordered a Dell Tower Plus EBT2250 plus for my wife to replace her Circa 2012 Dell XPS8500.

Normally I'd take a week or two to set a New PC up. Connect it to the LAN, install the needed programs, Acronis True Image, Firefox, Thunderbird, RoboForm, etc., and then locate on her system the data files and bring them over and connect them to the applications.

Next, her DOCUMENTS and PICTURES copied over, and lastly her 'games', well over 100, 90 of them she's probably not played recently, but they are all in a few folders I can copy over easily.

I do need to partition the 2nd 2TB drive to match her 4 partitions though.

I'm wondering IF Support Assist which now 'supposedly' will off (Free I think?) Dell Migrate?

Has ANYONE used this on this 'new' machine?

If so, how was it and any suggestions?

I was considering getting LAPLINK even, trying to save myself some headaches and time.
