EBT2250 1000 Watt PSU Graphics Card Power Connector

I am planning on putting in my PNY NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4060 graphics card model number VCG40608DFXPB1-O in this machine when I receive it.  The card has a standard 8 Pin power connector.  Do I need any special power adaptor cable to connect this card to the 1000 watt PSU that is in this machine, or will it directly connect like it does to the 500 watt PSU in my current XPS 8940 without having to use something such as a 6 to 8 pin adapter?
