Dell Pro Max GB10 Connectivity
Hello ,
i was looking at the specs of the Dell Pro Max with GB 10 and noticed it has an integrated Nvidia Connec-X 7 SmartNic dual port 200G QSFP . I would like understand if there are multiple GB10s , can we use those 200Gb ports and interconnect them to a high speed switch such as the SN4700, using Mellanox 400Gb to 2 x 200Gb breakout cables to scale out the fabric for tandem operation.
Would that be possible ?
Thanks in advance.

Yes — this is a supported configuration. The ConnectX-X 7 dual 200G QSFP ports support RoCE v2 and can be connected to a switch such as the SN4700 using 400G→2×200G breakout cables.
Multiple GB10 systems interconnected this way can be used for distributed inference with NCCL over RoCE/RDMA.
Confirmed working: a 4-node GB10 cluster running distributed inference of 355B parameter models with SGLang over 200Gbps RoCE/RDMA networking.
On GB10, the ConnectX-7 NIC reports a 32.0 GT/s x4 PCIe link with approximately 126 Gb/s reported available PCIe bandwidth per port.
