Most newer systems with Intel chip/sets do not have AHCI any longer - they are IRST only. Intel has been phasing out AHCI support for a while now, and this system is new so it has no AHCI support.
If you need that it's still available on AMD-based systems and on many standard (i.e., ASUS, MSI etc.) mainboads, but not on most pre-built desktops with Intel CPUs.
