Updating OME v2.0.0.1926 to v2.1

Hi,

I'm hoping somebody has some information in regards to the update of the actual software. Will it just be a case of running the update and all of your settings are pulled across into the new version? Or would it be a case of doing a fresh install and then re-configuring the software.

Any information on this would be appreciated.

Hi,

Thanks for your post!

When you install OME 2.1 on top of OME 2.0, the settings from the previous version will be retained\pulled across into the new version which happens automatically for you.

And, before you perform upgrade it is always a best practice\recommended to take a back up of your "OME" database using MS SQL server.
