Update Inventory collection component: Failed (SSL/TLS)
Hi everyone,
During the update Inventory collector component i've got an exception.
The underlying connection was closed: Could not establish trust relationship for the SSL/TLS secure channel.
My version is 17.12.200.139, available version is 18.06.000.248.
OME version: 2.4.0.930
OME accessing the Internet trought proxy.
Have You any ideas to resolve this problem?

Hi, thanks for the query.
This is due to recent TLS protocol changes on Dell online resources. Workaround is to configure .Net to use strong encryption via Windows registry settings. Please follow below link to do so (system restart needed for new settings to take effect).

Alternatively, you can upgrade OME to v2.5 which has the fix built-in and workaround is not required.
