Unknown Health Status for Cisco Switches on Dell OME
Hi there,
I am unable to see the Health status for all of the Cisco switches that are managed by Dell OME. The current health status is shown as "Unknown". Is it supported by Dell OME?
Please help. Thanks.

You can check the OME Support Matrix for this, however we do not support Cisco switches only a limited number of Brocade switches.
That being said you can still import the Cisco MIB into OME so OME can recieve SNMP traps from the switches and translate the OID in the SNMP trap to a meaningful alert.
In the device tree the Cisco switch will stay as an unknown.

Hi Martijn,
Thank you for your reply. So can I just comfirm that the OME Support Matrix lists all of the supported hardware and any other hardware, (ie Xceedium, Aruba, Cisco switches) not shown is not supported??
Thanks,
Mikhael

Yes that is correct, but you can import the MIB's for those devices so the alerts are understood.
