Understanding Broadcom teaming failover message in OME
Hello,
OME sent us some error messages yesterday regarding one of our server NIC teams failing over, but I cannot find any information on what the messages mean. Here's an example:
"An adapter failover has occurred. Adapter name: [0012] Broadcom BCM5708C NetXtreme II GigE (NDIS VBD Client) #3. Team name: Team 1. Cause direction: 2. Adapter activity cause: 4"
Does anyone know where I can find the list of possible adapter activity causes so I can troubleshoot this issue?
I've tried the Broadcom user guide but I haven't found what I need.
Thanks.

Hi,
Thanks for the post. OME is just a receiver of the alert which was sent from your device. You will possibly find more insight on this if you cross post it over to the general systems management forum or probably Broadcom forum.
