Unable to upgrade Seagate drive firmware
Hi,
The Openmanage shows me that some of the servers are non-compliant because it needs a seagate drive firmware upgrade. See link and picture below. The upgrade can't be installed via Out-Of-Band (Idrac) because it's a VMWare system we can't do an in-band upgrade. The firmware upgrade is only for windows/Linux. How can I install this update or can i exclude this update so that my servers are complaint.

Hi,
OME currently does not support physical firmware update through OOB method. This is because, iDRAC supports updating physical disk through OOB only after a specific firmware.
We will pass this on to the right people so that it can be taken up.
As of now, unfortunately, you will not be able to make the device compliant as there is a package which can be updated on the server through OMSA method if there was Windows or Linux OS on the server albeit it is only this package which will not get deployed in case of ESXi.
