Unable to install updates from management server
Hello,
I am getting the following error whenever I try to run a system update from my OME server:
Results: Unable to extract preinstall package on the remote system.
The file may be corrupted or disk space on remote node is insufficient to perform the operation.
See the help and ensure the remote node requirements are met before executing the task.
Invalid authentication rights. Please check blah, blah, blah.
I am using our domain admin account so I know the authentication is correct.
There is more than enough disk space to extract anything.
This has happened to three servers so far, so I'm confident it will happen on all of them.
Any ideas as to what is causing this?
Thanks,
KBeau

Hi,
Preinstall package on target system might fail if that component is already running.
Check the following
1. Login to remote box and explore C:\Windows\Temp and try to clear it.
2. Also check in Windows Task Manager whether any process with name omexec/Runbada is running. End them and retry from OME.
Lets us know the outcome.
