unable to create task, unable to delete task execution history and OME DSM essentials host service not restarting properly

Hi, I've recently deployed OME on a windows VM.

I am having a few issues:

After a few failed system update tasks, it seems that no more can be created, they are "launched" but do not appear to run in the task execution history. Also alarming, not able to delete the past system update tasks (all failed except for catalogue import).

Another strange thing, i cannot launch any remote tasks, i attempt a racadm racreset soft task, create it and...vamoose! it is nowhere to be seen. I cannot create remote tasks.

Also I try restarting OME services and the DSM essentials host service can never get going. What is this service?

I've restarted the VM on which OME is installed many times, nothing changes. 

Please note my concern is not that i was not able to update a node. My concern is that i am no longer able to even attempt to update a node it seems. I dont see how this would be relevant but, i am aiming for out-of-band updates on idrac 6,7 and 8 nodes. All with ranging versions of firmware, most with recent (2.21.21 or better for idrac 7 and 8, idrac6 range from 1.54 to 2.85)
