Trouble clearing an update from OME?
I have a Dell R610. It is running iDRAC6 2.90 (the latest compatible version), Lifecycle Controller 1.7.5.4, BIOS 6.4.0, OS Driver Pack 15.04.00. I actually have 8 of these; the one in question was used at our DR site so it had a PCI-e 4-port gigabit network adapter, but now it has been brought home so the card has been replaced with a 10GB fiber card just like it's siblings. It's running XenServer 7.2 as the hypervisor.
Per OME, this host currently has a firmware update available to it. It is this update here: http://www.dell.com/support/home/us/en/19/Drivers/DriversDetails?driverId=82J79
The problem is, this update does NOT install. Upon trying, we get the following:
3/2/2018 11:38:38 PM Using iDRAC IP address:10.1.169.78
3/2/2018 11:38:38 PM Verifying Connectivity/Credentials
3/2/2018 11:38:55 PM Verifying Connectivity/Credentials: OK
3/2/2018 11:38:55 PM Checking the status of LifeCycle Controller: LifeCycle Controller is ready
3/2/2018 11:38:55 PM Downloading Packages.
3/2/2018 11:39:13 PM Package Lifecycle-Controller_Legacy_Application_0WFGM_WN32_1.7.5.4_A00.EXE not applicable.
3/2/2018 11:39:13 PM Error Occured:
3/2/2018 11:39:13 PM The component that is being updated is not valid. Re-run inventory to determine the correct component and try again
3/2/2018 11:39:13 PM Check the following: Credentials entered are valid, iDRAC is reachable from OME host, iDRAC has a valid license and iDRAC is in a good state. The iDRAC could not download any packages.
3/2/2018 11:39:13 PM Software Update Task Failed.
3/2/2018 11:39:13 PM Inventory will be triggered approximately after 20 minutes and expected to complete in 3-4 minutes.
I believe there is an old job holding things up, but with our iDRAC version, I don't have the jobqueue clear commands used to purge a job. I have done a hard reset of the iDRAC, a power drain, a full reset of the lifecycle controller...nothing. I don't even see a way to just decline the update. I'm out of ideas as to what I should do here. Any advice?

Hi, thanks for the query.
Please give a try with Dell Troubleshooting tool installed along with OME.
Let us know if this helps to remove all jobs.
