set OME permission for user
Hi,
I am using OME in my company. For the OME credential, it is synchronized with our AD account.
However, I do not want the domain user to access OME while only domain admin to access OME.
Could I set this rule in OME?
Thanks.

Hi,
Thanks for the post. OME has role based security which manages OME access for specific groups in the device tree. Other than that any user who has access to OME needs to be part of OmeAdministrator, or OMEPowerUsers or OMEUsers group. You cannot manage the users from inside OME, but if you don't want domain users to have access to OME, you can remove the domain user group from the three user groups required for OME. That should help.

Hi,
Removing domain users from OmeAdministrator, or OMEPowerUsers or OMEUsers group will prevent them from accessing OME. Refer to this white paper for more information OME Role based security and Implementation

Thanks for your prompt reply.
You are right. It shows that I am a OME User when I sign in as domain user.
How can I remove the domain user group from the three user group required for OME?
