Running OME v1.2.1.0, Upgrade to v2.1.0?

We are running OME v1.2.1.0 presently and I'm wondering if there are any good reasons NOT to upgrade to v2.1.0.

I understand the most current version is the only one compatible with Windows Server 2012 R2, of which we have a couple dozen servers.

Rather I can give you many good reasons TO upgrade :-)

There are many features added, many bug fixes went in, many new devices supported.

You can see all new features in the following wiki page of OME

http://en.community.dell.com/techcenter/systems-management/w/wiki/1989.openmanage-essentials

When you plan to upgrade, it is recommended to upgrade to OME v2.0 first then to OME v2.1.

Upgrade from OMEv1.2.1 to OMEv2.1 directly is not officially supported, though it might work.

For more details on upgrade please refer to OME v2.1 user guide in following location

Thanks,

Arun
