Remotely add host to OME Discovery Range Group
Hi,
I've been building out a new deployment mechanism for Windows servers using Microsoft Deployment Toolkit 2013. One of the last tasks I'm trying to automate is getting OMSA/OME installed as part of the deployment. I have the OMSA configured as an install task and it works just fine. The final piece of the puzzle is getting the new server added to OME.
My question: is there a way to remotely add a new server to a Discovery Range group so it can be included in teh next scheduled group discovery/inventory? It doesn't appear that the CLI commands for OME are remote-able. I'm running OME 1.3 and have read it includes REST APIs, however, I'm not too familiar with that yet and am unsure if the APIs would offer a solution.
Does anyone have any suggestions for automating this?
Thanks,
Ryan

Hi,
This functionality is now available with OpenManage Essentials v2.4. Please refer the REST API guide here: http://www.dell.com/support/home/us/en/19/product-support/product/openmanage-essentials-v2.4/manuals
