Redhat 6.4 system discoverable, but shown as Unclassified in OME
OMSA is installed on the Unclassified server, and browsable via https:// :1311 .
I've tried ./srvadmin-services.sh restart and the Dell Troubleshooting Tool can resolve the MIB-II (System Name) value properly.
Dell OpenManage Server AdministratorVersion 7.4.0
Dell OpenManage Essentials 1.3.0.1533
Any ideas?
Thanks

Ok, yeah, if that is not there, then OME won't be able to discover the Linux server. It looks like a config issue on the managed node.
We have some doc that might help:
1. The First time setup tutorial in the OME GUI has a linux page
2. The OME FAQ (www.delltechcenter.com/ome) #3.6 has some Linux comments
3. The Making My Environment Manageable for Dell OpenManage Essentials whitepaper on www.delltechcenter.com/ome has some Linux settings to check.
4. There might even be a Linux video on DTC/OME as well.
5. And you may have to double check ports and firewall settings.
thx!

Hi there Graham,
Just a quick question to confirm...
When you run the Dell Troubleshooting Tool, does the SNMP test return the version of Server Administrator in the result set along with the MIB II stuff?
Thx!
