PERC H700 Inventory Not Updating

I have a 2 PowerEdge R710s running ESXi 5.5 that are stating they have an update available (12.10.7-0001) for the PERC H700 Integrated (Embedded) storage controller.  However, I have already successfully ran the update for each of them from OME and the iDRAC via (out of band update procedure).  When the server boots, it says version 12.10.7-0001 is installed, but the inventory report in System Services at startup still reports the old version (12.10.6-0001).

A third R710 of the same specs and configuration was successfully updated and is now reporting the correct version in OME and is up to date.

I drained the flea power on each server, reset the iDracs, and even ran the update again for good measure.  It completed successfully again, but is still reporting the same critical update as available and needed.

I tried updating directly within UEFI System Services and it also states the correctly installed version as 12.10.7-0001.  So it looks like the inventory is not being updated.

Any ideas of how to resolve this?  Running OME 2.1.

Thanks,
B-rock

Hi, Thanks for the post. OME will not see the updated version until it shows up in System Services inventory.

Can you please check whether CSIOR ( Collect System Inventory On Reboot) is enabled in iDRAC ?

Thanks,

Arun

Apparently that is all it was, so thanks for reminding me of that option.  I'm almost 100% it was enabled in the past as I have been running updates via OME for over a year now.  Either way. thank you!
