OpenManage Essentials - End of Life / Support date?

I haven't been able to find any documented dated for when Dell OpenManage Essentials (OME) will go end of life or end of support.  With OpenManage Enterprise now being the focus, and Essentials noting that they will no longer support newer devices or receive any functionality updates, it is just a matter of time.

Does anyone have this date?  I'm in the private sector, and to help provide justification for moving to something newer (i.e. OpenManage Enterprise) it is always a slam dunk for us if we can say "such and such product will stop being supported on this date".

Millertime-FL,

OM Essentials is already End of Life (EOL) developmentally, but Essentials won't be removed from support. As far as drawing a line regarding newer devices, Essentials is fully supported up through the 10th generation of servers, but at the 11th generation not all of the features will work correctly.

Let me know if this helps.

Hello Chris,

sorry to resurrect an old thread..

we also use openmanage/racadm extensivelly - to configure bios settings, attach virtual media, create raid configurations .. etc - I'd like to know what is the in-place replacement /if there is any/ that Dell recommends to use for automation instead of racadm cli for these tasks, since the way I understand it - racadm is not going to be supported past 2027.
