OME Upgrade does not recognise the (working) database.
Hi,
When i start the upgrade it says;
Dell EMC OpenManage Essentials
---------------------------
Warning: A non-Essentials database with the same database name already exists on the system. All existing tables and data, if any, in the database will be deleted permanently. Are you sure you want to continue?
Running version 2.3.0.1721
I get this message with the 2.5 and the 2.4 update.
My database is located on a cluster / availability group, that did not work, crashed the whole install. Now i get only this, the install goes well but i end up with all my data gone .. **bleep** :-)
(i removed the database from the availibilty group so it is still runnin on the HA cluster but not with any sync going)
I would love a solution!

Hi, thanks for the query.
OpenManage Essentials database does not support the 'Always On Availability Groups' feature of Microsoft SQL Servers. It is highly recommended that you disable the feature/setting before using or upgrading OME.

I figured that out via the log files. But still stuck with the database not being recognized.
Created a ticket uploaded all the log's and our db ;-) so hopefully we will find a solution.
