OME doesn't work with non standard SSH port
Hi,
I'm trying to do automatic system update via OME. So, I'm going to Manage - > System Update -> and then choosing machine from Non-Compliant Systems
When I have machine I check the update I want to apply and click Apply Selected Updates.
And here the problem starts, there is a field SSH Port number where default is 22 (of course). But in my company we don't use default port for security purposes.
So I'm placing the port we use but after execution of that I'm getting Error intializing SSH. Connection refused.
I did TCP dump on the OME server and it turns out that OME is trying to use port 22 to connect via SSH !! What the *** ?? Port was changed in the page where You apply it.
Anyone has similar issue and fixed it ??
Best Regards , Jacek

Hi Jacek and thanks for the post.
We'd like to get a ticket opened on this one if you can (800-945-3355). This is the first I've heard of it and the code does look to be respecting the overridden port. So if it's a defect it looks like something non-obvious and will require a closer look.
Thanks!
Rob
