OME - Cannot log in after upgrade to 1.3.
Hi there,
I have upgraded to OME 1.3 from 1.2, and can no longer log in - It just hangs on the splash screen.
Install log + splash screen error is below. Can you see where it went wrong?

Right so if you call into support they can open a ticket and review. The number is 800-945-3355 . If you are in a region outside North America, the support.dell.com website should provide the regional numbers.
Thanks again,
Rob

What is your browser? If IE11, do you have compatibility settings turned on?
Or if possible try a different browser/browser version and let us know your experience.
The attached log doesn't provided any key information on why this hangs in your case, and we have not seen this with supported browsers after upgrade from 1.2 to 1.3.
Thanks

It affects all browsers on different machines - Chrome, Firefox, IE, etc.
When I run it from Safari on my Mac, it automatically logs me in using my current user account and works perfectly - Except my user account is not an admin account so I can't run in system updates and the like.
If I do it from a PC and put in my admin account details, the issues are as per the logs above.

Hi,
Was your upgrade performed using a local administrator account or a domain administrator account?
Can you check if the omegroups i.e OmeAdministrators, OmePowerUsers and OmeUsers have your administrator account listed under one of these? You can find this information under Server Manager >> Configuration >> Groups.
If not, can you manually add the administrator account to OmeAdministrators group and check.

It was performed using a domain admin account - Confirmed as being under the OmeAdministrators group.

Further to previous post - I used the existing database for the previous version when performing the upgrade, and OME provides a warning to this effect when installing v1.3. Is there a way to upgrade the database rather than starting with a new one? (If that's potentially an issue, anyway.)

Do you have IE11 installed on the machine where OME 1.3 server is installed?

No, the server is running IE10. Should I upgrade?

Hi,
I would not upgrade to IE 11 for this issue. I think we were asking since one or two folks had mentioned that using IE 11 they had to put the browser in compatibility mode to work. But I've not seen this myself.
I think we will need a ticket to see if the support guys can take a closer look and help out.
Regards,
Rob

Tricky one indeed - Do I need to do anything further at this point, or has a ticket already been raised? (I'm new to these forums.)

Hi, there.
I've been working with tech support for this same issue. I made a discovery today.
Here’s what I’ve done:
Something in IE is messing up IIS on the OME server.
Still working on this with tech support,
