Non-Compliant Systems update not needed

In OME > Manage > System Update > Non-Compliant Systems

I have a server showing that it needs a driver update for an Intel NIC. When I manually run the update on the server, it says no devices present that need that update. How do I remove this item and show the system as compliant?

Hello

I have a server showing that it needs a driver update for an Intel NIC. When I manually run the update on the server, it says no devices present that need that update.

It is likely that you are not running the correct update. I would suggest downloading the update again and make sure it is for the NIC you have and is the proper installer for the OS you are installing from.

How do I remove this item and show the system as compliant?

OME does not have the capability to mark a system as compliant or remove an update from the compliance list. You can filter out systems and updates from the compliance view, but that just changes the view. The non-compliance will still exist. Amit addressed this question in the following post:

I just tried running updates from OME on an R720 to try to reproduce your update issue. I also had an Intel driver that did not properly update. When I ran the update manually on the local host I received this error:

You are likely experiencing the same issue. The instructions in the error message are self-explanatory. The update cannot be applied until the Windows hot fix is installed.

Thanks
