LinkDown Port or Number question

We have three Hyper-V Servers (R620s) and they all spit out similar errors at the exact same time.  There is a Warning and an Unknown right at the same time with info such as:

Unknown    7/26/2015 1:51:44 AM    Enterprise: .1.3.6.1.4.1.343.2.7.2.3.1.1.2 Trap Ids:Generic:6 Specific:2; (;0=15;1=10.42.16.31;2=1.3.6.1.4.1.343.2.7.2.3.1.1.2)    Unknown    Unknown

Warning    7/26/2015 1:51:44 AM     LinkDown Port or number: 17    Network    linkDown

Then 2 minutes later we got the LinkUp messages.

Is there any way to figure out exactly what causes these to happen and if they are important?  We never had any actual outages or anything.

Thanks!

It might be but we have different smtp numbers in our big string so I don't know if that means it's the same or not.

The 1.3.6.1.4.1.343.2.7.2.3.1.1.2 OID is a physicalAdapterLinkDownTrap from the Intel MIB on the server.
That means that the SNMP agent in Windows sees the Intel NIC port going down and sends the trap to OME.

Please check your Windows Event logs if there are also events that tell that the NIC port went down.
