idrac7 vs Dell OpenManager

Hello,

  1. From idrac7 on we can monitor every think without need to install Openmanager on server operating system?

  2. With idrac7 do we have any advantage installing Openmanager on server operating system?

  3. With idrac7 we can manage the storage with any kind of PERC?

  1. From iDRAC 7 and up you will have the ability to monitor and alert on all the hardware that is in a server. If you want information available in the iDRAC from the OS you will need to install iDRAC Service Module (ISM) or OpenManage Server Administrator (OMSA).
