IDRAC6 - System summary does not show System Host or OS

Hi,

I'm now running latest version of firmware 1.99 (build 06) , on a Linux OS server. It doe snot populate System Host or OS with details? I need Dell open manage Essentials to display this info, but i dont think it will until this is resolved. Help.

Hi Mark,

Thanks for the post.

Can you try discovering the in-band IP of the Linux server with SSH protocol in addition to discovering the iDRAC IP. This will get the OS information from the in-band IP and other information from the iDRAC IP and show this as a single server in OME as you are expecting.
