how to resolve incorrect power status of servers in OMEv2.2 & template deployment
Dear team,
I have just deployed OME version 2.2 at one of my client (a critical one really), discovered M630 blade servers & m1000e chassis by using IP range for iDRAC. Kindly help to resolve the following issues
- All servers are powered on, but in OME it shows some of them powered off and some of them powered on.
- I took server present in slot 1, partitioned all NICs (i.e: LOM CNA & Mezz CNA), created a template from the same & tried to deploy the template on all the remaining 15 blade servers, it gives error during deployment when task reaches 80%.
No Events found!

Hi,
Thanks for the details in the post.
For 1st point, the servers shows powered off in OME, if the icmp/ping is not successful from the OME system to the target iDRACs when the status poll is running (default every 1 hour). Try refresh inventory on the server and see if this resolves the state of the servers as displayed in OME.
For 2nd point, first thing I will suggest is to ensure all the iDRACs are having latest firmware and try the deployment again. In case of failures, the deploy template task details will point the problem of the failure reason why the deployment is failing.
