Firmware 'Installed Version' is blank

I have a handful of PowerEdge servers in OME that show no version info for currently installed ethernet firmware. As a result, OME thinks there are upgrades available for these servers. Successful Inventory/Discovery does not change this.

When attempting to manually install the firmware, the GUI also reflects no current version information. Reinstalling the firmware and rebooting does not solve the issue --it still shows no current installed version information.

This is specific to: Broadcom NetXtreme-E Network Device Firmware 21.4.2

Any suggestion on how to get the currently installed firmware version to register? Screen-cap below:

Further info... looking at the update logfile it does see the correct and currently installed version:

When you say OME, are you referencing OpenManage Essentials, or OpenManage Enterprise? Regardless of software, which release is it?

Thanks for the reply. Sorry for the lack of detail on my part.

We're running OpenManage Essentials, latest version, 2.5.0.1005. All servers are running OMSA 9.3.0

For one client, I uninstalled OMSA 9.3.0 and did a clean install of 9.4.0 (I've had issues with in-place upgrades). Removed the client from OME and rediscovered it. Still shows no version info for the ethernet firmware and upgrade available.

Seems to be specific to the server and/or firmware package and not OME, though. Because when I run the firmware upgrade package locally it also doesn't return the installed/current version (previous screen-cap).

Do you know if the individual OMSA clients are picking it up? Part of my asking is that OpenManage Essentials was replaced with OpenManage Enterprise, and I don't think Essentials has had a significant update in a bit. I'm wondering if this might be a symptom of that. If the firmware show up in the OMSA client, I woudn't rule it out.

The correct firmware version is reflected in the OMSA client.

But take a look at the earlier screen-cap. You can see that when I manually run the firmware update package (as admin) it does not detect any version -it shows blank.
