Exclude items from search box results

Hi all. I'm pretty new to Open Manage, my org has just rolled it out and I have the job of patching the hosts this time round. So far Open Manage has mad it much easier.

I have one query though, when searching for a device using the search bar at the top the results seem to come through in chronological order which is not particularly useful as the device itself is usually the oldest item in the search but the most frequently needed.

Is it possible to make the device itself the top item in the search and/or to exclude items from the search?

Cheers

Hello

I'm not aware of a method to change the order or perform any exclusions. I don't show anything documented in regard to advanced search options. If there is a search task you perform often then I suggest looking into creating a custom group. There are many more parameters available when creating a custom group in the device list. If your search parameters change then you can edit the grouping to the new parameters.
