DellOpenmange Essentials - Alerts

Good day

We have more than 1000 Dell server and I need to understand and configure the servers to receive only the following specified alerts 

1-Physical Disk Failure

2-Server goes down or Power Failure 

3-Physical Memory 

4-Physical CPU

5-NIC

Please help me to configure these alerts. because I have many alert categories and I do not know which one is applicable  and will give me the exact result that I need.

Hi, thanks for the query.

Best would be to configure alert settings on all servers and opt only for alert categories of your choice.

From console point of view, you can create an "Alert Ignore Action" under "Manage -> Alerts" page in OME. On alert categories selection page in the wizard, select everything except the following and see if the results are satisfactory:

General Redundancy

Memory

Network

Physical Disk

Power

Processor

thanks for your reply regarding alerts.

1-For dell manage essentials, what licences i need to deploy windows to our Dell servers? and how these licences will be installed?

2-How i can force the target dell server to boot to iso image automatically and start the installation since we need zero touch deployment in our  1000 server

3-And after deploying OS . Is there a way to install the dell drivers remotely after windows has been deployed?
