DELL openmanage

Hello,

I am facing an issue uploading SUU as catalog source ... it shows loading but noting happening .

What could be the reason ? and the solution.

Hi Dilip,

Can you tell us what version of SUU catalog and OME version you are using, so that we can assist you.

Hi Dilip,

Is your SUU image mounted locally on the same server where OME is located?

Also, what do you see in the details of Import Catalog task that gets created when you are trying to import the SUU catalog?

yes it is located in the same server.

I see only uploading is in progress but it does not upload. after refreshing web page I see only the old SUU.

Hi Dilip,

Was this working before? 

You may want to try restarting OME services to see if something is goofed up there. The OME services are "DSM Essentials DA/Network Monitor/Host/Task" Services.

Hi Pupul,

Yes it was .. I used it for couple of years with no issues.

it shows all the services are up and running,

but if I restart Host Service, It does not restart gives errors, but if I reboot the server all the services come up again. but can not upload the SUU.

I tried to repair the server by keeping the old database ... did not help top overcome this issue.

Hi Dilip,

Looks like there is something goofed up but difficult to say from here. If you log a trouble ticket, it will help. Another thing would be to try putting these services in manual mode for a while, reboot the server. Start the OME services manually and see if it helps.
