Hi, thanks for the query.
Is it possible for you to share InstallUtil.log located in "C:\Windows\Temp" directory? This will help us understand what might have happened with your setup.

Hi,
I've just had exactly the same thing happen, ran the MSI, select OME install, pre-requisites panel said the installation would be upgraded, waited a few mins then the install failed saying nothing had been changed - except the DB on the remote SQL server has been deleted, the OME website in IIS has gone as have the program files. Going to look into it now but if you figured out what the issue was, do tell! Not a good start really!
The installutil log just said that the website etc were deleted, the commands were run with the -u switch for some reason....
Thanks
Justin

Hi Justin,
There might be some errors before execution with "-u". Please share the logs with us if possible. Otherwise, do get in touch with Dell Support. They will be able to resolve the issue.

Thanks for that, I actually just restored the DB then ran the OME 2.1 installer to get it back up and running again, will leave off upgrading for now!
Thanks

And exactly the same issue upgrading from OME 2.1 to OME 2.3, DB deleted, IIS website and program files deleted despite the installer reporting that "no changes have been made" At least I have the practise from the last time it happened to restore it all!

Does the user upgrading OME has DB_Owner rights on OME database? Again, InstallUtil log will help us gain more information.
