APC/Schneider PowerNet MIB import issue in OpenManage
Hello. I'm using OME v 2.3, and I'm trying to import the APC PowerNet MIB file so we can use the application to monitor some PDU's. The import with the integrated utility seems to work, as does the the parsing, since OME notifies me that it's successfully parsed 753 traps from the MIB file (which, now that I think about it, seems a bit high?). However, nothing appears in the "Traps available for Import" table, therefore I'm unable to select anything and actually import the traps.
I've tried multiple versions of this MIB file and I get the same result. Same goes for anything I've tried from ServerTech (pdu2_mib.mib). Am I doing something wrong, or are these just not supported?
Here's a link to the latest version of the powernet MIB file (v4.2.6) http://www.apc.com/shop/us/en/products/PowerNet-MIB-v426/P-SFPMIB426
Any help is much appreciated!

Hi and thanks for the post.
If you can, would you cross post in the OM Essentials forums. Those folks should be able to take a look and see what's up. However, we'll take a look at our MIB parser on Enterprise anyway :)
Thanks,
Rob

Hi, thanks for the query.
I could not download this version of MIB. But, I had an earlier version (v3.0.0) and tried importing it in OME 2.3. Successfully parsed 77 traps and imported. Can you attach v4.2.6 in this thread?

Got hold of v4.2.6 MIB and all 753 traps got imported just fine. Do you see any error logged in browser or UI logs that you can share here?

Thanks! I was able to figure this out. The MIB file must be uploaded directly to the application from the local host/VM where OpenManage is installed. Uploading MIB's from a remote web session does not work (even though it appears to do so). At any rate, thank you for confirming the MIB file was working for you.

Good that it worked!
Uploading files from network location is not supported for most features in OME.
