OME Services Plugin 4.5.0.1061 not detecting ISM 5.4.2.0

I have a PE R650, ESXi 8, ISM 5.4.2.0 installed along with iDRAC version 7.20.70.50 Dell OME 4.5.0 shows ISM info but the Services Plugin cannot detect the ISM. Says Not Available and cannot run a collection on the device. Can run a collection, no automatic case generation when something breaks such as a bad DIMM.

ISM 5.3.0.0 works fine

Hello,

 

The Services plug‑in relies on ISM telemetry for SupportAssist collections and case automation. ISM 5.4.x changed its telemetry schema, and OME 4.5.0.1061 does not interpret the new schema correctly—hence “Not Available.”

 

Dell Recommended Fix

  1. Upgrade OME to 4.5.1 or later (check OME download page).
  2. Update Services plug‑in to the latest build after upgrading OME.
  3. If upgrade is not possible immediately, rollback ISM to 5.3.0.0 (which you confirmed works) until OME/Services is updated.
