OME Online repository not working downloads.dell.com/catalog/catalog.gz

Hi Team,

We are using OME version 4.3.2 (Build 49) and to sync the online repository We enabled the firewall to connect downloads.dell.com but still we are getting below error.

Execution Message
Running
Processing repository information.
Attempting to connect to repository.
Downloading catalog failed.
Unable to download the catalog file. Make sure that the remote repository is available, also if a certificate was used in the request, then make sure is valid.
Task Failed. Completed With Errors.

Can someone help us to fix the issue and let us know what the exact ports that needs to enabled at firewall as we need to cross check once.

Same problem. If you manually try downloading the file from the URL you just get a 0 byte xml file. So looks like an invalid/corrupt catalog file on the Dell side.

Same problem here. Also downloads.dell.com//catalog/catalog.xml.gz seems to be showing old data. I'm only seeing downgrades, not the current versions.

same here - i was just coming to post about this - the version is from Decmeber 2024, and telling me to downgrade my BIOS on all my servers! no thank you!! @Dell ... please fix or update!! 🙏🏼🙏🏼

please can you wait some days and try again? Catalog should get its usual update until then and issue should be fixed.

Can the OpenManage team fix it sooner? It's not possible to use the main functionality of OpenManage currently while this issue is occurring. It seems to be an outage on the Dell server side.

@JezOldfieldKMC​ It looks like downloads.dell.com//catalog/catalog.xml.gz has been updated now and is no longer showing downgrades. downloads.dell.com/catalog/catalog.gz is still broken but if you create a new catalog for

downloads.dell.com//catalog/catalog.xml.gz it seems to work.

It looks like Dell may have fixed this. It seems to be working for me now. Can anyone else confirm?
